A bomb threat forced authorities to evacuate Louisiana State University and place four surrounding public schools on lockdown Monday. The threat came from an anonymous phone call to an emergency center around 10:32 a.m. All classes and events were cancelled for the day while police dogs investigated the scene. A police spokesman could not say whether any bomb materials were found on site. The threats follow last week's bomb scares to the University of Texas at Austin and North Dakota State University.
