It may soon even be easier to keep up with a certain Kardashian.

Khloe Kardashian, 28, is a frontrunner to host reality show “The X Factor,” according to sources.

In a Sept. 11 interview on “The Ellen Degeneres Show,” executive producer Simon Cowell dropped her name when asked who’s lined up for the gig. He revealed that Kardashian impressed him in her audition, coyly stating, “It could be a Kardashian. I think that would work… Khloe is definitely up there in running.”

Since then, sources close to the talent show tell TMZ that Cowell has named the reality show star as his final choice and that it is now only left to FOX to sign her.

After a lackluster first season, “The X Factor” revamped entirely by bringing new judges to the table—Britney Spears and Demi Lovato are the new swaps for Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger—and searching to replace previous host Steve Jones.

Cowell reasons that Kardashian will complement well with Britney Spears and Demi Lovato to make the show “decidedly younger.”

In fact, Kardashian is already friends with the Disney pop princess, even tweeting her the night of the premiere on Wednesday.

For now, the talent show is running pre-taped auditions, but a host will be vital to the mix as soon as the live shows start this November.

At this point, sources tell Hollywood Life that it is “highly likely” that the network will approve her and that. “It’s Khloe’s job if she wants it.”

And a friend of the Kardashian family says she wants it: “She has always been a huge fan of The X Factor… [hosting it] will be one of her biggest dreams come true.”

Cowell has stated before he wants a male-female duo with little experience to host the second season of the show, which originated in the UK.

The spunky brunette beauty seems perfect for the job. She is known for the reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” starring her socialite family, as well as a spin-off “Khloe and Lamar,” chronicling her marriage with basketball star Lamar Odom.

If signed on, she will be the deciding factor on who her male counterpart will be, since the two must have chemistry. Current names being tossed around include Nick Jonas, Kevin McHale, Corbin Bleu, and Mario Lopez.
