The iPhone 5 made its debut on Friday with thousands of eager customers waiting in overnight lines outside Apple retail stores to be the first to own the newest smartphone.

According to CNN, the iPhone 5— which has a bigger screen, is lighter and slimmer and has 4G LTE wireless connections— already reached record-breaking sales with 2 million preorders made on the first day. Analysts have projected that as many as 10 million could be sold by Monday.
