Governor Jerry Brown issued a series of last-minute signatures and vetos to state assembly bills as Sunday night's deadline loomed large.

Brown vetoed AB 1081, otherwise known as the TRUST Act, which would have curbed deportations by ending collaboration between police and Immigration and Customs Officials.

AB 889, which would have granted overtime and vacation time, was also vetoed, as was AB 2346 which would have required farmer to provide their workers with safe heat standards.

Brown did sign AB 2819, which will grant driver's licenses to those applying for deferred action. It will affect an estimated 400,000 young people in California.
