.) Didn’t get enough of Mindy Kaling on "The Office"? Well not to worry, she’s back and better than ever! Mindy Kaling stars as Mindy Lahiri,a quirky, likeable doctor struggling to be successful both at work and in her social life, in one of Fox’s newest shows. You’re sure to get a some laughs in each episode, and lets face it, who couldn’t use a little more humor on  Tuesday Night!

.) Two words: cute costars. Chris Messina, as Dr. Danny Castellano, and Ed Weeks, as Dr. Jeremy Reed, serve as charming counter parts to star Mindy Kaling. Everyone loves a cute doctor, and these two certainly fit the part! Their charm, humor, and consistent wit make the show too good to miss!

.) Clocking in at only half an hour, this show is the perfect break on a Tuesday night! Most 30 minute long shows seem to either fly by, or offer little actual programming by the time the commercials finish. However, with "The Mindy Project", you will have yourself half an hour of humor and well-written television. Just enough time for a fun and relaxing study break in the middle of a hectic week!

.)There has been a recent craze of medical and emergency room shows, most of which show the frantic nature and gore of a hospitals trauma center or emergency  room, but not "The Mindy Project"! Viewers can still get their fix of a hospital-based plot line without being traumatized by the sight of injured patients. In the show, Doctor Mindy Lahiri is a gynecologist and is surrounded by a cheerful and witty staff, a far cry from the depressing nature of a usual hospital drama. The lighthearted nature of life in Dr. Lahiri’s world is shared with all of us, what’s not to love!

.) In the show, Mindy Lahiri is notorious for being a lover of romantic comedies, and is both hoping and expecting that one day her life will end up like one. What girl, doctor or not, doesn’t fantasize about ending up happily ever after, and boys, we know you may not fantasize about your life ending up like Drew Barrymore in "Never Been Kissed", but come on, we can all relate to the desire for a perfect work life, social life, and love life. Mindy’s quirkiness and the sarcastic nature of the rest of the cast makes for a show filled with down-to-earth relatable characters that feel like the friends and colleagues we see everyday.
