Creative director Yvan Misplaere concentrated on bright colors for DVF's Spring 2013 collection, particularly on oranges, greens and blues. The collection truly captured the happiness of spring as smiling models walked down the runway in flowy tunics and sleek drapes. The dominant theme of the show was retro, but with sleeker silhouettes. Carrying on from last season, peplum is still a hit and is being featured in many collections.

Hair was kept natural and straight and printed sunglasses, high wedges and embellished sandals were the accessories du jour, along with statement color-block bags. However, the most eye catching look was that of the comfortable fits with larger-than-life earrings. We are expecting this to be a red carpet hit!

Once again, the queen of prints has outdone herself. Present in the front row were Sarah Jessica Parker, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino and Google co-founder Sergey Brin.
