Good news for fans eagerly awaiting the new “Star Trek” movie: it finally has a name beyond “Star Trek 2”! And the title is… “Star Trek Into Darkness.” Happy times, much? (Deadline)

“Saturday Night Live” lost some of its strongest talent this year, but three new cast members have been announced. Aidy Bryant, Tim Robinson, and Cecily Strong, y’all have some big shoes to fill. (EW)

This week’s other celebrity marriage is between Cobie Smulders (“How I Met Your Mother,” “The Avengers”) and “SNL” actor Taran Killam. The two have a daughter together, and were wed last Saturday. (People)

September passing by? Forget back to school—it’s almost Oscars season. And the race begins, as “The Master” comes out this weekend and Spielberg drops the first of sure to be many teasers for his Daniel Day-Lewis-starring Abraham Lincoln biopic. (The Hollywood Reporter)
