The “Girls” are back. While a full trailer for the HBO show’s second season isn’t out, a teaser for the show is and can be viewed after the jump. (The Hollywood Reporter)

While Philip Seymour Hoffman is currently on screens in “The Master” and is currently shooting his role in “Catching Fire,” he’s found some time to take on a second directorial effort, “Ezekiel Moss,” which is a Great Depression era-set ghost story. (Variety)

“Smash” adds yet another star name to its show roster: none other than Nikki Blonsky (pro tip: she starred in Adam Shankman’s high wattage “Hairspray” remake). (Vulture)

Just coincidence? Perhaps… but probably not. Days after the new “American Idol” judges were announce, rumors that Usher and Shakira would be replacing Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera as judges for “The Voice” are swirling. (Us Weekly)

Lana Del Rey coos through a cover of “Blue Velvet” for an H&M commercial (watch below). (Stereogum)
