Secretary of State Clinton Visits Turkey, Talks Syrian No-Fly Zone

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met with Ahmet Davutoglu, a Turkish emissary and political counterpart, in Istanbul on Saturday in order to discuss possible joint measures their respective countries could take against Syria.

Among the measures Clinton discussed with Davutoglu was the implementation of a no-fly zone in Syrian airspace, although neither representative would comment about the strength of their dedication to such a matter.

Clinton was adamant about both countries using their military and political clout to further help the Syrian rebels in Aleppo and Damascus, saying, according to Reuters:

"Our intelligence services, our military have very important responsibilities and roles to play so we are going to be setting up a working group to do exactly that."
