John Lennon's Killer Up For Parole In NYC

John Lennon's murderer is up for parole in New York City for the seventh time.

According to CBS, Mark David Chapman is up for a parole hearing as early as next Tuesday. The last time Chapman was up for parole was September 2010.

Chapman was originally sentenced in 1981 for the murder of Lennon, who was part of the influental musical group The Beatles. Lennon was killed in December 1980; he would have been 72 this October.
