“Fame” is getting a second wind thanks to TV mega producer Nigel Lythgoe (he of “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance”). He’s attempting to bring the show back as a scripted show. (Vulture)

Joss Whedon continues taking over the pop culture conversation, this time with his new Marvel pilot for a S.H.I.E.L.D.-specific TV show. Whedon will be writing the show’s pilot for ABC, and he might also sign on to direct it as well. (Deadline)

Miley Cyrus gets to show off her new ‘do on national television with a guest spot on “Two and a Half Men.” (EW)

USA’s “Suits” hasn’t been off the air for long, but already casting news for their upcoming third season is out. Actor Jon Foster will be joining the cast as a “social media whiz.” (The Hollywood Reporter)

Lindsay Lohan is in the news again after being questioned by police regarding a jewelry theft, prompting a new round of “Uh oh”s. Luckily for her this time, she won’t be charged in connection with the crime. (Us Weekly)
