Muse 'til Midnight | August 25 | 8:30p.m. | LACMA

LACMA's always been at the forefront of LA's art scene, but in its Muse 'til Midnight after-hours event, museum guests can explore the grounds and visual exhibits alongside some nifty aural exhibits. The museum's Urban Lights exhibit will be the showcase for DJs like Geographer, and a soundtrack connected to live DJing by Dublab Soundsystem will be available for exhibit goers. Easy Sunday | August 26 | 3:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. | The Blue Star

Need something to do for Sunday Funday? Look no further. Easy Sunday is an outdoor afternoon-to-evening party, bringing you the finest in fun-filled, attitude-free partying. Dress comfortably, throw on a swimsuit and enjoy a diverse music lineup, live art, good food and best of all, cheap drinks. The event is free, but it's 21+ to attend. And if the free admission doesn't sway you, maybe this will: The Jarritos truck will be on-site handing out free bottles of ice-cold Jarritos! (Easy Sunday)

Folding Paper: The Infinite Possibilities| Until August 26 | 11 a.m- 5 p.m. | Japanese American National Museum

Who isn't fascinated by origami? Let the wonder abound at the first museum exhibition dedicated to the art of paper folding: its history, its worldwide masters, and its intersection with design, math and science. Gawk at the intricacies and skill of contemporary origami artists from not only Japan, but also the US, Russia and Uruguay. Don't worry, there will be more than the classic paper cranes: these artists blow the cliched concept of origami wide open. (JANM)
