It’s going to be an epic battle of the pop divas when Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera return to primetime television in less than one month. The two singers are set to mentor and judge up and coming talent for two different reality shows.

Britney will make her debut on FOX’s “The X-Factor” alongside LA Reid, Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato. Christina, on the other hand, will return to NBC’s “The Voice” for a third season with Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green.  Both shows have created plenty of buzz and have seen ratings both networks are smiling about.

There is concern, however, that two singing competition shows four days straight every week will be a little too much to handle for viewers. For those feeling the need to choose between the two former Mouseketeers, here’s a look at some of the singers most memorable moments both on and off the singing stage. 

Music Videos

The singers have been making iconic, memorable videos since the beginning of their careers. Remember Britney's school uniform in "Baby One More Time" or Christina dancing on the beach in her red pants in "Genie in a Bottle?" In a time when music videos rarely get significant attention, both ladies know how to show off impressive moves with spectacular scenery.

Dramatic Times

After becoming so famous so fast at such a young age, it may not be too surprising that the stars have had a few public mistakes. Whether it was Britney's head-shaving incident, her gum-chewing interview with Matt Lauer or her angry paparazzi confrontation with the help of an umbrella, the singer has had some low points. In recent years, however, the star has managed to get back on track with a sold-out tour and new music. "Everyone thinks Britney's going to melt down, gonna crash," LA Reid recently said on "Watch What Happens Live." "The truth is she is very composed." 

Christina has also had some bad press. She was arrested for public intoxication in 2011 and some have been disappointed with her bickering and attitude directed toward "The Voice" mentor Adam Levine. "You could cut the tension with a knife," a show source recently told Us Weekly. Will viewers continue to tune in for Christina's sassy comments, or will will they watch Britney succeed or fail?

Fashion Statements

For those who have watched "The Voice," viewers have been treated to a wide variety of outfits from Christina. From her sparkling black hat to her unique jumpsuits, all eyes are on the singer when she arrives at the spinning chairs. 

It's unknown what Britney's signature look will be on her show. Based on the auditions that have already been filmed, the singer keeps it classy with colorful clothes and great hair. As People Magazine said, however, "we can't seem to figure out what's going in the wardrobe department over at her FOX show."
