The Summer Olympics have just become a lot spicier. After weeks of rumors and speculation, the London press confirmed Friday all five Spice Girl members have agreed to perform at the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games, scheduled for August 12.

Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) have begun practicing for the highly anticipated performance. The group’s last show together was back in 2008 during a short-lived reunion tour.

The Spice Girls aren’t the only performers gearing up for the Closing Ceremony. George Michael, The Who, Take That and Jessie J will also be partaking in the final celebration of the London Games, according to the UK Telegraph.

In comparison, the Opening Ceremony appears to have less big name musicians. Duran Duran is scheduled to perform as well as Paul McCartney. However, more than 15,000 unknown volunteers are expected to partake in the ceremony as London introduces its culture to the world.

Other rumored celebrities yet to be confirmed for the ceremonies include Leona Lewis and Adele performing a duet, boy band One Direction and even The Rolling Stones.

It appears London is doing their best to keep the ceremonies top secret. Matt Lauer, Meredith Viera and Bob Costas are slated to host the Opening Ceremony, Friday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
