President Obama outspent Mitt Romney by two-to-one last month. He used part of his $97.5 million to run 35,347 television ads. Romney, on the other hand, aired 16,946 ads during the same period.

Yet, Romney has obtained more money than Obama over the last two months. Overall, however, Obama has received a total of over $307 million for his campaign as opposed to Romney’s $156 million.

Money raised for the election, though, cannot be spent until after the nominating conventions; so, Obama has more money to spend before then than Romney.
