"Dancing With The Stars" returns Sept. 24 (ABC)
For the first time, ABC is bringing back America's favorite "Dancing With The Stars" contestants for an all-star season. At the Beverly Hilton Hotel Friday morning, the network announced 12 of the stars that will return to the dance floor. Many of these dancers are far from beginners.

The cast will have six different winners from past seasons including Drew Lachey, Kelly Monaco and Emmitt Smith. In addition, 3 of the 12 cast members are runner-ups in the season they originally competed in. After finishing in second place, Kirstie Alley, Joey Fatone and Gilles Marini will return to finish on top.

Fans of the show will also determine the final contestant on the show. Viewers can go to ABC.com and choose from Carson Kressley, Kyle Massey or Sabrina Brayan. The person with the highest amount of votes gets the final, thirteenth spot on the cast.

It appears the network wanted the all-star cast to be reliable, hard-working dancers and not big-name celebrities looking for more TV time. Many past reality TV stars who appeared on the show were left off the list, except for Bristol Palin. To be fair, she did finish third during her season. The competition is expected to be fierce, as the best of the best appear to be fighting for the trophy.

Season 15 of "Dancing With The Stars" premieres September 24 on ABC.
