Reuters reported that House Speaker, John Boehner, and fellow Republicans in the Tea Party-led House of Representatives scheduled another vote on Wednesday to repeal President Obama's health care act after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the law declaring it constitutional.  

ABC News reported that this action follows through with Boehner's pledge, made one day before the Supreme Court ruling on June 28th. 

"We’ve made it pretty clear and I’ll make it clear one more time: If the court does not strike down the entire law, the House will move to repeal what’s left of it."

On Wednesday, the House Republicans are expected to vote to repeal the law as a whole. However, with a Democratic Senate and White House, the repeal has no chance at becoming law. 

"Hope springs eternal,"' Boehner said on Tuesday in response to the apparent futility of their vote.

The Republican's continuous efforts to repeal the act has now become the butt of jokes on Capitol Hill. 

Democratic Representative, Jim McDermott mocked such efforts: "As a psychiatrist, I'm qualified to say this: One definition of insanity is doing the same than over and over again and expecting a different result," said McDermott.

The House Democratic campaign committee has even created and begun offering bumper stickers that read: "Dear John Boehner. It's constitutional. Get over it."
