Courtney Anthony Robinson, a homeless man suspected of stabbing three L.A.-area homeless people in the past month, has surrendered to the police.

According to The L.A. Times, Robinson is also suspected of perpetrating two additional knife attacks on homeless in Santa Barbara. In the L.A. cases, Robinson would stab a victim and leave the weapon in him or her, along with a "death warrant," which he signed as David Ben Keyes.

The motives behind the stabbings is still unclear, and LAPD Commander Andrew Smith has revealed that while Robinson shared the reason behind his attacks, that information is sealed for now and will come out only in trial proceedings.

None of the stabbings were fatal.
