What has 2 weekends and a cruise ship to itself? The answer is Coachella, the festival that just won’t quit. For the mere price of $500 (baseline), get your boat shoes on and rock out to the likes of Pulp, Hot Chip, and Girl Talk. Both cruise vacations are slated for December; how’s that for a holiday to remember? (Stereogum)

“Cars,” “Toy Story,” and “Monsters Inc.” all have prequels or sequels, so what’s another addition to the Pixar storyline continuation club? “Finding Nemo” is the next film to get another part, and original director Andrew Stanton is on board. (Deadline)

What exactly is “American Bullshit”? Besides being a theater marquee-friendly name, it was also slated as a Christian Bale FBI thriller, but as Bale has left the project, it’s up to Jeremy Renner to pick up the torch. (Variety)

In part 1 of “Catching Fire” casting news, the long awaited news of who will play trident-wielding hunk Finnick is over. Sam Claflin (last seen not getting the girl in “Snow White and the Huntsman”) is reportedly taking the role. (Vulture)

In part 2 of “Catching Fire” casting news, the role of the bewildered but perceptive Wiress has been given to Amanda Plummer. If the name’s familiar, perhaps her most high profile role is: as Honey Bunny in “Pulp Fiction.” (EW)
