The lives of Matt McQuinn, Jessica Ghawi and Jesse Childress, victims from the Aurora movie shooting, were remembered today at three separate funerals today.

Each of the funerals commemorated lives that were cut short.

The Chieftain reported:

“A man who saved his girlfriend's life at the Colorado movie shooting was remembered for his selfless sacrifice Saturday, while an aspiring sportscaster was praised for her boundless energy and an Air Force reservist as a good friend,”

Twelve people were killed and dozens were wounded in a shooting attack last Friday at a packed movie theater during a showing of the Batman movie, "The Dark Knight Rises." Police have identified the suspected shooter as James Holmes, 24. More funerals are set for next week, Fox News reported.
