Both presidential campaigns have reported a spike in fund-raising following the Supreme Court's decision to uphold President Barack Obama's health care law.

The Mitt Romney campaign said Friday that it had raised $4.6 million online in the first 24 hours, CNN reported. The figure included money from more than 47,000 sources. Obama's campaign claimed that donations surpassed Romney's effort, but did not reveal specific numbers.

Both Romney and Obama used Thursday's Supreme Court ruling to fire up donors. Romney's campaign webpage featured a red "DONATE" button beneath a message stating, "Obamacare Upheld: Elections have consequences." Obama's campaign manager Jim Messina sent out an e-mail with the subject line, "Let's win the damn election" late Thursday night, emphasizing the need to keep Obama in office.
