Obama, Romney Release TV Attack Ads To Win Over Hispanic Voters

President Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney have set their sights on Hispanic voters this summer as their respective super PACs prepare for battle armed with Spanish TV attack-ads.
Priorities USA Action — the Obama-supported super PAC— has produced a 30-second ad (costing $4 million) called "Mitt Romney: En Sus Propias Palabras" ("Mitt Romney: In Their Own Words"). The ad is reportedly the largest independent Spanish-language presidential ad and will run in Colorado, Nevada and Florida, according to ABC News.
Mitt Romney supporters have begun assembling their own Hispanic TV ad campaigns that will likely capitalize on unemployment (the unemployment rate among Hispanics was at 11 percent in May, up from 10.3 percent in April) as well as the Obama administration's deportation policies.
However, analysts contend that Romney will have an uphill battle when it comes to securing as many of the estimated 12 million Hispanic votes as he can in November.
Obama leads Romney nationwide among Hispanics, 67 to 26 percent, according to the latest Gallup poll.
