Obama Leads In Polls, Romney Viewed By A Majority Of Voters As 'Out Of Touch'

Bloomberg conducted a poll from June 15-18 to get a feel for voter sentiment five months before the November elections. The survey shows that 39 percent of Americans view Romney favorably, while 48 percent do not. A majority of voters (55 percent) also view him as out of touch with average Americans while only 36 percent say the same of President Obama.

Another question asked respondents who they would want to sit next to in a long airplane flight. 31 percent chose Romney while 57 percent voted for Obama.

These, amongst other results, show that in these uncertain times, voters are choosing to back a president they already know, than take a chance on a candidate they regard as undefined and disconnected.
