Large Crowd Attends Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant Despite Rain
Despite the rain, over one-million people turned up to watch the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant Sunday. In celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee over 1,000 boats sailed on the Thames river beginning at the Albert Bridge and ending the tour at the Tower Bridge. The flotilla of boats taking part in the festivities is reportedly the largest fleet of ships assembled on the River Thames in 350 years.
