Jury Selection Begins In Jerry Sandusky Sex Abuse Trial

Jury selection began Tuesday in the trial of shamed former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.

The Los Angeles Times reported some 600 summonses had been sent out around Centre County, Penn., after defense lawyers fought to keep the proceedings local. 

Sandusky is charged with 52 counts of sexually abusing 10 boys over the course of 15 years. It's been more than six months since the allegations were made public, but after a series of recent legal delays, it appears Sandusky may finally be forced to face the justice system.
