"Jeopardy!"'s Alex Trebek Recovering From Heart Attack
Alex Trebek, the 71-year-old host of "Jeopardy!," was hospitalized this Saturday after suffering a mild heart attack.
After being admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, he underwent further tests on Sunday, and is now recovering rapidly. Sony Pictures, the producers of "Jeopardy!," released a statement saying that Trebek is "up and about and in good spirits," and that he will be ready to shoot the 29th season of the show, scheduled to begin filming in July.
Trebek, "Jeopardy!"'s host since 1984, suffered another mild heart attack in 2007. Only last July, he also made headlines after receving an injury from chasing down a burglar in his hotel.
