As per Freedom of Information Act requests made by news organizations looking into the recent accusations of agents consorting with prostitutes in Colombia while awaiting President Obama’s arrival, the U.S. released a 229-page log of accusations of improper conduct made against Secret Service members.

Despite the extensive redactions, it is apparent that accusations made against agents over the past decade include: involvement with prostitutes, leaks of sensitive information, publication of pornography, sexual assault, illegal wiretapping, improper use of weapons and drunken behavior.

A senator who has been investigating the incident in Colombia, Susan Collins, said she was concerned “about apparent misconduct by some of the personnel of this vital law enforcement agency,” and since this new list of accusations has been released, and a censored one at that, she now wonders “whether these incidents indicate a larger cultural problem.”
