Oops, he did it again: Snoop Dogg was detained over possession of—what else—marijuana and for carrying cash over the legal limit in, of all places, Norway. Guess those Scandinavians aren’t so chill after all (ed: I apologize for nothing). (Billboard)

Well, at least it’s spot-on casting. Cee Lo Green will be playing a successful hip-hop artist in the upcoming movie “Can A Song Save Your Life?”, which is also starring Keira Knightley and Adam Levine (of Maroon 5) as lovers and is being helmed by the guy behind “Once.” (Variety)

With the success of “The Avengers,” it’s not a surprise that Marvel wants to boot up another team-based franchise. Enter: “Guardians of the Galaxy.” (EW)

The Flaming Lips have just beaten Jay-Z for the record of most shows played in 24 hours, performing in 8 different cities in the span of a day. Jay-Z had previously played 7 in a day. Both feats are equally mindbogglingly impressive, though one wonders how the music itself sounded. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Aaand not to upset anybody’s breakfasts, but the younger Kardashian sister set, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, are writing a young adult novel set 200 years in the future with the “help” of author Maya Sloane. (Celebuzz)
