“Chuck” fans still upset over the lack of star Zachary Levi in their lives? He’ll be taking over fellow TV star Josh Dallas’s role in the upcoming “Thor 2,” playing Fandral (one of the Warriors Three from “Thor”). (The Hollywood Reporter)

Lindsay Lohan was back in the news over an accident with an eighteen-wheeler, in which she claimed she rear-ended the truck after the driver cut her off. Her new reason: her brakes failed, obviously. (Vulture)

Unlike Michael Bay, Batman director Christopher Nolan is letting his series rest, saying he won’t be making a Batman film after this summer’s upcoming “The Dark Knight Rises.” Also notable: he’s not a fan of digital filmmaking. (Deadline)

One half of everybody’s favorite puff puff pass duo is battling prostate cancer. Tommy Chong released the news that he was diagnosed with the disease about a month ago. Among his remedies: none other than Mary Jane. (EW)

Filed under: uncomfortable but not completely unexpected. Deena Cortese, one of the cast members of “Jersey Shore,” was arrested this weekend for public intoxication. (Us Weekly)
