Just walking into the Topanga Nieman Marcus is enough to make anyone feel stylish, but walking into a display outfitted with two huge speakers, bow-tied waiters, and immaculately crisp tables feels like the most elegant lunch party ever. The Styled by Vogue event featured designer clothes from labels like Gucci and Missoni, all sold at Nieman Marcus, shown first on impeccably styled models and then later on display for guests to browse or buy.

The atmosphere was friendly and fun as guests sat around circular tables, sipping drinks and chatting. As the talking died down, models appeared in outfits highlighting this summer’s trends. As each model walked, the hosts explained not only the outfit’s designer and details, but also some of the styling choices and how each outfit exemplified numerous summer trends as well as showcased the stylist’s aesthetic. A standout look was a ruffled floral Diane von Furstenberg sundress, which looked both comfortable and dynamic due to flowery embellishments at the collar.

Overall, the event felt intimate and friendly, and many of the guests inspired a good deal of style envy. Not only were the showcased pieces beautiful and luxurious, but they were styled to highlight upcoming trends and demonstrate how to wear them with confidence and style.
