Vegas: How To Dress

From sequins to cutouts there are many viable options, the most important thing to keep in mind is the overall vibe your outfit gives off. You want to look fun and sexy, but not look like you’re a working girl (it is vegas after all). These looks are perfect ways to dress the part and turn heads.
Sequins are an integral part of the glitzy Vegas look. They add a nice accent to a simpler outfit if you want to support the Vegas spirit while remaining under the radar. Sequins can also facilitate the full “wow” effect as shown in many of these examples. If you do choose to done a completely sequin dress be sure to pair it with simple heels, a small subtle clutch, and minimal jewelry.
Leather is becoming an increasingly popular Vegas outfit choice. It can make an ensemble feel playful, chic and mischievous all at the same time. The leather look can be successfully pulled off in many ways such as a high waisted skirt with a colored bustier and a hint of bare mid-section. Colorblocked leather is also a great option, it is younger than a single colored leather dress. Simple, single-colored dresses are fun to pair with patterned chunky platforms or bright colored accessories. No matter how you do it, leather adds a great sheen and texture to any ensemble.
In general, platforms and wedges are a necessity for your trip. You never know how far you will end up walking or how long your night will be, so it’s a good idea to wear fashionably comfortable shoes. Shorter-heeled, ankle boots are also a great choice that wont leave you feeling under dressed if paired with something on the shorter or tighter scale.
