Monday's performance show of "The Voice" was one nobody should have missed. Not only was there performances by Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton, Maroon 5 and Wiz Khalifa premiered their new song "Payphone." With each team down to their final four members, Team Blake & Team Christina showcased their team's talent. It was one unexpected twist as both Blake and Christina conducted instant eliminations that made the competition even that more cutthroat.

For Team Blake, country's little girl Raelynn embraced her country roots singing "She's Country." The combination of her spunk and strong vocal tone could make her a very versatile artist. Jordis Unga gave a more vulnerable performance Monday night. She has such strong vocal power but her presence in softer songs seemed to be a challenge for her. Erin Willett & Jermaine Paul

have progressed in making songs their own. Both singers connected to the music's meaning on stage Monday night.

Everyone on Team Christina Monday night did an incredible job of presenting who they are as an artist in each of their songs. Fan and judge favorite Jesse Campbell sang Beyonce's "Halo," giving the audience his true vulnerability. Chris Mann sang Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" which really enabled him to play up his vocal strengths in stretching out the notes. As one of the more surprising contestants on the show, Ashely de la Rosa has proven why she has been able to make it this far. Lastly, Lindsey Pavao stopped hiding behind her voice and broke out singing Katy Perry's "Part of Me."

Once everyone had their chance to perform, it was time to decide who would stay and who would be instantly eliminated. In shocking fashion, Blake Shelton eliminated powerhouse Jordis Unga and Christina eliminated Jesse Campbell. It was a completely shocking twist to what everyone thought was the person to beat on the show.

Make sure to tune in Tuesday at 9 p.m. on NBC to see how America voted and to catch the world premiere of Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" video.
