Fan and judge favorite Jesse Campbell sang Beyonce's "Halo," giving the audience his true vulnerability. Chris Mann sang Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" which really enabled him to play up his vocal strengths in stretching out the notes. As one of the more surprising contestants on the show, Ashely de la Rosa has proven why she has been able to make it this far. Lastly, Lindsey Pavao stopped hiding behind her voice and broke out singing Katy Perry's "Part of Me."
Once everyone had their chance to perform, it was time to decide who would stay and who would be instantly eliminated. In shocking fashion, Blake Shelton eliminated powerhouse Jordis Unga and Christina eliminated Jesse Campbell. It was a completely shocking twist to what everyone thought was the person to beat on the show.
