Google announced their latest invention on Google Plus.
Google announced Wednesday plans to develop high-tech glasses that stream information, news and messages directly across the user’s lens.

Photos and video of “Project Glass” first appeared on Google Plus, before clocking at the top of Google Search trends and making headlines on Google News. Google’s Google[x] lab designed the glasses.

Google[x], which is also working on a Google Car and a Google Space Elevator, made a plea on Google Plus to Google users asking for their input. They noted that Project Glass was by no means a completed endeavor. From Google:

A group of us from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment. We’re sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input. So we took a few design photos to show what this technology could look like and created a video to demonstrate what it might enable you to do.

Currently among the devices possibilities; voice commanded texts, GPS navigation, video chat and the opportunity to further tap into Google's services.
