The pop princess told MTV News that this release has been in the works for over a decade. “This is finally the time that I developed a fragrance that I liked the smell of,” Madonna replied when asked why she chose the fragrance industry. “I’ve been trying to develop a fragrance for the last 15 or 16 years.” 

Are you wondering if this is the scent for you? Madonna also explained who the perfect candidate for her new scent would be, "Someone who is daring, daring enough to tell the truth," she said before adding, "and someone who likes gardenias." 

The singer elaborated that "truth or dare" is "a phrase that is related to me and my work and what I stand for. I think I've had a fairly daring career and I'm pretty honest about my work, so I think that goes with my perfume."

The fragrance costs around $90 and comes in two formats – as 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum, along with body lotion and shower gel.

In addition, the Truth or Dare lifestyle brand will not only sell fragrances, but also accessories, footwear, handbags and intimates.
