At Least Five Killed In Christian Oakland University Shooting

CBS News said, Police in nearby Alameda told KCBS that the suspected gunman was taken into custody at a shopping center there at about 12:20 p.m. His identity was not immediately released but the suspect was earlier described by police as a Korean man in his 40s with a heavy build and wearing khaki clothing.
The Huffington Post said, "I can confirm that we do have one person who has been detained that we believe is possibly responsible for this shooting," [police officer Johnna]Watson said.
Four victims arrived at Highland Hospital for treatment, said spokeswoman Jerri Randrup.
Earlier, television news footage showed officers surrounding the building in search of the suspect. The footage also showed wounded people being carried out of the building, and more gurneys were being brought in.
SWAT officers evacuated Oikos students when they arrived at the school.
The school, Oikos University, teaches theology, music, nursing and Asian medicine, according to its website, with the "highest standard education with Christian value and inspiration."

How have these senseless acts become the norm amongst those who feel disenfranchised and disillusioned? It seems nothing merits attention than a violent see all shoot them up for cinematic excellence, except those dead bodies on the ground aren't extras but the twisted souls of innocent people caught up in afflicted tortured souls indiscriminately aiming at a compromised education system, gun mandating system and that part of America that only finds meaning when things are starkly and brutally manifested on their tv sets....yet even then the meaning is washed and hyperbolized.
Ultimately we have to ask ourselves what is it about our culture that facilitates so much violence??
