It finally happened. The only sane girl on "Gossip Girl" is now the new IT girl. Poor Lola, the dark side finally got to her.

But before I get to that, let's talk about how Blair and Serena can't seem to move on with their lives and just grow up. The episode starts with an elated Blair who finally receives her divorce papers. She wants to spend it with Dan, but instead calls him over and then gets cold feet and ditches him at the last minute. That girl is seriously her own biggest hurdle stopping her from being happy. She is never happy with what she has, and instead of just being excited about being free, she mourns over her childhood dream of being a princess one day.

Let's be honest…Louis wasn't all that great and we all love Blair as her conniving self, not a fairytale princess. But of course, Dan has to come save the day and makes Blair dress up in a pouffy pink dress and buys her a fake tiara so that she can feel like a princess one last time before moving on.

And then there's Serena. "Gossip Girl" keeps sending her warnings about giving her site back, but rebel Serena doesn't seem to care. She has no intention of giving up her newfound power that she continues to abuse. Afraid that "Gossip Girl" will make her a target, Serena decides to create a new IT girl to take the attention away from her upon Blair's advice. She chooses Lola, the innocent bystander who only comes to her for help with her love life with Nate. Serena draws attention to Lola and gets her so much media attention that suddenly she becomes the next big thing. She is invited to model the same lingerie fashion show as Serena, but things turn sour when they rename the piece named after Serena "The Lola." Then Serena turns to her selfish ways and tries to bring Lola down, despite being family.

Diana's back to stir things up, which doesn't sit well with Lola, who finds out through "Gossip Girl" that Nate and Diana used to date. She gets jealous of Diana which is what drives her to Serena for advice in the first place. Meanwhile Diana is making Nate's life hell at work, taking over his office and promising to take over his job soon.

Lola and Nate devise a secret plan in which they pretend to fight so that they can drive Diana into the arms of Lola's date and record the rendezvous on camera to use against her. They tell Diana that the boy she just messed around with is actually only 16, but instead of freaking out Diana simply tells Nate that if he ever posted that video he would get caught for distributing child pornography. As annoying as Diana can be, you have to love a woman who can hold her own and knows how to take care of herself and get whatever she wants. Which is why I worry for innocent little Lola…will she stand a chance against Diana who confesses that she still has feelings for Nate? And will Nate actually stick to one girl for once?

This whole time, Chuck is the only one who seems truly reformed from his old habits. It turns out he paid Blair's dowry, which is the reason her divorce papers arrived. Nate accidentally tells Dan this, who accidentally tells Blair this, who in turn gets mad at Chuck instead of thanking him. The poor guy goes to her to talk about his mother and how to deal with finding Elizabeth again, and instead of being a good friend she shuts him down and claims that he is just trying to win her back once again with his emotional antics. On the plus side, Chuck finally finds out that Elizabeth is not his mom and that his real mother is out there somewhere.

Speaking of the parents, Rufus and Lily are having their own share of problems. Rufus tries to help Lily by making a deal with Ivy to get the apartment back; if she leaves the apartment, then Lily will lift the freeze on her assets. Lily agrees to the deal reluctantly, only to stab Rufus and Ivy in the back. She places a fake call to Ivy telling her a check has been left in her name so that she will leave the house, but once she leaves Ivy discovers there is no such check and her assets are still frozen. Rufus is furious and refuses to go back to the Upper East Side with Lily and stays in Brooklyn instead. Do I see another divorce coming up for Lily? These Rhodes girls seem too selfish to keep anyone around very long.

Which is why it's sad that the one Rhodes who seemed to have it all together is being taken over by the Upper East Side. The episode ends with her embracing the paparazzi and posing for them after being lashed out at by "Gossip Girl" aka a very jealous ex-IT girl.

Tune in next week as Manhattan's elite gather at yet another party to create some chaos.
