Dick Clark, the longtime TV host, music producer and host of "Rockin' Eve," died Wednesday morning, according to TMZ. He was 82. 

Clark died of a massive heart attack, according to multiple media reports citing Clark's agent, Paul Shefrin.

Clark suffered a stroke in 2004, which forced him to take a much less significant role with "New Years' Rockin' Eve," a show he created and hosted since 1972. 

"America's Oldest Teenager," — as he was nicknamed — first rose to fame in 1956 as host of "Bob Horn's Bandstand," later to become "American Bandstand."
