CSUDH Hosts White House Commission On Hispanic Education

Members of the President's Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for Hispanics met at California State University, Dominguez Hills, Tuesday morning for a public summit.

According to press materials for the summit, reps came together to "outline their plan to expand educational opportunities and improve academic outcomes for Hispanics."

Among those present Tuesday were Eduardo J. Padron, chair of the commission and president of Miami Dade College, CEO of Children's Trust Modesto E. Abety, and President of the University of Texas at San Antonio Ricardo Romo.
