Axl Rose Disses Hall Of Fame, Kills Guns N' Roses Reunion Talks

In a letter to the Hall on Wednesday, Axl announced that he does not want to be included in any of Saturday's festivities.
"I won't be attending The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction 2012 Ceremony and I respectfully decline my induction as a member of Guns N' Roses to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame," Rose wrote.
"I strongly request that I not be inducted in absentia and please know that no one is authorized nor may anyone be permitted to accept any induction for me or speak on my behalf. Neither former members, label representatives nor the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame should imply whether directly, indirectly or by omission that I am included in any purported induction of 'Guns N' Roses.'"
When the HOF inductees were announced in December, many anticipated a reunion of GNR's original lineup: Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler.
The lineup was responsible for one of the best-selling albums in rock history, 1987's "Appetite for Destruction."
The band dismantled in the mid-90s with Slash's departure, but Rose has continued making music under the GNR brand.
