Another week of hockey has come and gone, but your weekly report is here.  

If you’re having a stressful day, check out this video of Minnesota Wild right winger Devin Setoguchi falling down in the shootout against the Montreal Canadiens. The funny part is he fell before he took the shot. Ouch.

Of course, there was big news other than people falling down:

-- The Toronto Maple Leafs hired Randy Carlyle as coach on March 2, replacing Ron Wilson. Carlyle was fired last November as coach of the Anaheim Ducks. The Maple Leafs won the first game 3-1 with Carlyle as coach against the Montreal Canadiens on March 3 but lost at home only three day later in a 5-4 loss to the Boston Bruins.

-- Hall of Famer Jean Beliveau is making progress in his recovery after suffering a stroke on Feb. 27, according to his wife, who spoke to the Montreal Gazette. Beliveau, 80, won 10 Stanley Cups with the Montreal Canadiens, and served as an ambassador and team executive for seven additional years.

-- The Pittsburgh Penguins unveiled a statue featuring Hall of Famer and team owner Mario Lemieux on Wednesday. It depicts a 1988 Lemieux goal in which he splits two New York Islanders defensemen, and sits outside Consol Energy Center. The bronze statue can be seen here.

Injuries

-- The Boston Bruins announced goalie Tuukka Rask will be out for the 4-6 weeks after sustaining a lower abdomen groin strain during the March 3 game against the New York Islanders, according to a statement by Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli.

-- Detroit Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard suffered a groin strain during the first period of a 2-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on March 4.

-- Howard's teammate, Red Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom, is still day-to-day with a deep bone bruise.  A puck struck his ankle during a Feb. 25 game against the Colorado Avalanche.

-- Defensemen Kimmo Timonen and Andrej Meszaros, both of the Philadelphia Flyers, will be out of the lineup indefinitely, due to lower body injuries.

-- Minnesota Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom is also out with a groin strain, sidelined for two to four weeks. The injury occurred after he made a save during the March 1 game against the Montreal Canadiens.

-- Penguins defenseman Kris Letang left the Feb. 29 game against Dallas after getting hit in the shoulder/chest area by Stars forward Eric Nystrom.

Trades/Signings

--- The Bruins signed goalie Marty Turco to a one-year contract, now that Rask is on the injured reserved list for the next month. Turco previously played for the Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars.

Goal of the Week

Jeff Carter arrived in L.A. last month and scored his first two goals against the Anaheim Ducks at Staples on March 3. Check out goal one here:

Save of The Week

King Henrik shows us why he’s one of the best goalies in the league. Henrik Lundqvist stopped a shot from the New Jersey Devils on Feb. 27. The Rangers won the game 2-0.
