USC freshman guard Alexis Moore will transfer from the university, according to Pedro Moura of ESPNLA.com.

Moore's reported decision comes just one week after sophomore forward Garrett Jackson was granted permission to talk to other schools about transferring.

Moore played in all 32 games (and started 18) for the Trojans in the 2011-12 season, averaging 4.3 points and 1.5 assists per game. The 6-foot-2 guard was a three-star recruit out of Long Beach Poly, where he led the Jack Rabbits to the California state quarterfinals last year. He was also recruited by UCLA but had a longstanding commitment to USC.

The starting lineup of Kevin O'Neill's basketball team will have an almost completely different look from the squad that finished 6-26.

Jio Fontan, who was second on the Trojans in scoring in 2010-11, will start at point guard after recovering from a torn ACL. New forwards Ari Stewart (Wake Forest) and Eric Wise (UC Irvine) are expected to start in their first year of eligibility at USC. Guard J.T. Terrell, a star in the junior college ranks that scored 11.1 points per game at Wake Forest, will also be eligible along with Serbian forward Strahinja Gavrilovic.

The four players will play on a USC team that will lose no scholarship players to graduation this spring, despite the potential departures of Moore and Jackson.
