After four years, Lindsay Lohan is finally a free woman… at least for now.

The 25-year-old actress appeared at the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday for what will hopefully be her last progress hearing concerning her probation.

Lohan was arrested back in 2007 for drunk driving and has since completed the terms of her DUI probation, after nearly five years of frequent legal dilemma. She will, however, remain on informal probation until May 2014 for her necklace stint and if she gets in any more trouble, she faces up to 245 days in prison.

According to the Huffington Post, the judge opened the hearing by calling Lohan’s case “endless” and at the end, Lohan hugged her attorney, Shawn Holley and was beaming as she left the courtroom.

And in a statement written by Lohan’s spokesperson, Steve Honig, “She is ready to start the next chapter in her life and get back to work and doing what she loves to do – making movies.”

But this does not mean that Lohan’s legal issues are completely over, with a few civil cases currently underwear.

The Huffington Post also reported that Lohan is being sued in three different cases for auto-related incidents and for an altercation during her rehab stay in 2010.
