They're back. And so are the police.

Shortly after Occupy protesters took over Union Square Park in New York, the NYPD closed the park Wednesday, arresting six after a tense standoff overnight.

According to the New York Times, protesters were arrested for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing justice.

No police or protesters were injured.

Last weekend, Occupy movement protesters gathered to mark six months since first gathering in Lower Manhattan's Zuccotti Park. At the celebration, 76 arrests were made.
