First Light Awards Hit The British Film Institute

Young filmmakers from across the UK were honored at the British Film Institute in London's Southbank on Monday in the First Light Awards ceremony. Winning films tackled topics as diverse as the Salem Witch Trials, stuttering, and homelessness. First Light is a UK organization helping to match young screenwriters, actors, directors and editors with more established professionals who can serve as mentors in the film industry.
