It was all about looking effortlessly chic as the Chloé Fall 2012 collection premiered at Paris Fashion Week. This is a collection for the polished girl who doesn’t try too hard, like Chloe Moretz or Kirsten Dunst. Creative director, Clare Waight Keller, sent the models down the runway with barely-there makeup on, focusing on the pieces’ relaxed silhouettes.

Pastel pink, baby blue, ivory, red, gray, camel, and brown dominated the color palette. Big trends included oversized coats and capes, and many pieces were adorned with lace and sporty details.  Always known for their standout accessories, Chloé’s two-toned satchels and double-zipper clutches are a guaranteed must-have for the upcoming fall season.

The biggest key piece would probably be the outerwear. Oversized military coats and car coats were splashed in pretty pastels and just beautifully designed.

These gorgeous pieces completely stole the show.

Here are the top three looks of the collection.

1.) Oversized Wool Coat

This is a statement piece to add on to a pair of skinny pants and tie-at-the-neck blouse. The dimensional patchwork in the wool gives the knitwear a playful and sporty feel, making it seem more casual and less uptight. You’ll not only look effortlessly chic in it, but cozy warm as well.

2.) Lace Peasant Blouse and Red Trousers

There is no better way to add a pop of color into your wardrobe than with a pair of richly-hued red pants. A simple white blouse is the perfect offset to the richness of the colored pants, and the lace gives the outfit a necessary feminine touch. Keep accessories simple with a clutch and flats that tie at the ankle.

3.) A Silk Black Taffeta Cutout Gown

It’s a dress with an innovative new twist on a black-tie event piece. It stood out not only for being the only gown in the collection, but also for its unique design. The cutout on the top makes it subtly sexy while the cinched waist keeps it very feminine. If you want to make an entrance, this is the dress for you.
