Music spun by a live DJ filled the outdoor center of Space 15 Twenty as bloggers, vendors, and fashion insiders mingled, sampling designer candy from The Candy Chef and various other refreshments. A group clustered around the Nail Couture LA booth, waiting for their own free manicure complete with funky nail art. In the corner, guests browsed racks of severely marked down high-end clothing and got crafty at LA Fashion Snob’s DIY table, creating quirky feathered headbands and sequin belts.

Suddenly the music stopped and one of the event’s organizers announced that the fashion show, styled by some of LA’s top fashion and lifestyle bloggers, would begin. Styled by the minds behind Broke Girls Guide, Curves and Chaos, La Catrina de LA Moda, and Penny Chic, the models wore clothes from stores in Space 15 Twenty like Urban Outfitters and Free People. Each blog styled three models, and brought a clear aesthetic that reflected the overall vibe of that blog. A personal favorite was one of the looks styled by La Catrina de LA Moda, a black and white printed romper with a flowy white vest embellished with silver triangles and accessorized with chunky pearl necklaces, huge sunglasses, and a beige structured bag. The look captured the essence of the LA fashionista, both comfortable and daring.

Overall, the event seemed both casual and intimate, and all the guests and organizers were very approachable. The styling of the runway show was impeccably on-trend but still unique, and the event was an excellent showcase of the styling and fashion talent of LA.
