USC added some much-needed wide receiver depth Wednesday afternoon when Darreus Rogers maintained his commitment to play for the Trojans.

The Carson High School (Carson, Calif.) product was recruited by USC running backs coach Kennedy Polamalu and is one of the most dynamic players in the class of 2012.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Rogers was considered a soft-verbal commit for some time, and eventually settled on the Trojans after a late push by Arizona State.

Rogers is ranked as a four-star prospect by Rivals, ESPN and Scout. Rivals lists the wideout as the 29th receiver in the country, and the 198th player overall. ESPN ranks Rogers No. 30 nationally at his position, but does not list Rogers as a nationally-ranked prospect. Scout has Rogers ranked as the 10th best wideout in the country.

He is joined in USC's class by fellow receiver Nelson Agholor, who signed from Florida earlier Wednesday.
