This is the second victory in a row for Romney coming after his win in Florida on Tuesday, and the first time during the election that a Republican presidential nominee has won two consecutive primaries.

Gingrich will be holding a mysterious press conference later tonight instead of the traditional post-caucus rally, leading to rumors about his withdrawal from the presidential race, according to the New York Times. But these assumptions may be premature, since his campaign team recently released his schedule of appearances for the following week.

Romney's rivals are already gearing up for the upcoming contests in Colorado, Minnesota and Missouri, and later Michigan and Arizona. Maine begins its caucuses today. However, it will hold them throughout the week, and results won't be available until next Saturday.

Santorum visited Colorado twice this week after admitting that Romney would win Nevada, according to ABC News.

“Nevada is a state that very much favors Gov. Romney,” Santorum said. “He’s invested about $1 million in the state already. Ron Paul’s got close to $1 million in the state. We just don’t have those resources. We think we’ll do well in some of the conservative areas. It’s not as demographically — Las Vegas doesn’t match up for me as well as some other states do. We’re not putting an emphasis on it.”

According to the L.A. Times, Ron Paul skipped the Florida primary to focus his efforts on Maine and landed in Minnesota today to rally voters for the caucus on Tuesday.
