It was nice of Keith Richards to give Mick Jagger the spotlight for a few days, but the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist decided to take back the headlines this weekend. Richards, now 68, joined the likes of Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy on Friday night to celebrate the life of former Howlin' Wolf guitarist Hubert Sumlin.

The concert took place in New York's Apollo Theater, and according to Rolling Stone, the performance marked "Richards' first major musical appearance since the Rolling Stones last toured five years ago."

To close, Sunday marks the 80th birthday of Johnny Cash. While his family celebrates in Arkansas, others are paying homage to the American legend from every corner of the country.
